FAQ’s…your questions answered
-
Do you do other events?
Absolutely! As well as weddings, we’re happy to provide dog chaperone services for a variety of events including engagement shoots, proposals, parties, photo sessions, corporate events, and more. If your pup needs a trusted companion for a special occasion, we’re here to help, just get in touch to discuss your plans!
-
How do we know if our dog can visit the venue or church?
This depends entirely on the venue's policy. We recommend checking with your venue or church in advance to confirm whether dogs are allowed on-site and indoors. If they are, we’ll work closely with the staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. If not, we can still arrange for your dog to be nearby for photos or a special moment outside.
-
Can we dress up our dog?
We’re more than happy to help your dog look the part for your special occasion, whether it’s a bow tie, floral collaror custom outfit. As long as your pup is comfortable, we’ll make sure they’re dressed, photo-ready, and adorable for the big day!
-
Where is Noble Pooch based and what areas do you cover?
We are based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire and are happy to travel near or far!
The first 30 miles of travel are included in our package. Any additional mileage is charged at 40p per mile.
-
Is there anyone we should tell that our dog will be part of our wedding?
We always recommend letting your guests know in advance if a dog will be attending, just in case anyone has allergies or feels uneasy around dogs. It’s also a good idea to chat with your photographer ahead of time so they can plan photos in a way that keeps things calm and comfortable for your dog.
-
How long can you dog sit for?
This depends on our avaliability but we are happy to stay until midnight with your dog.
-
Do you take our dog back to your own house?
We’re happy to care for your dog in your own home, a family member’s home, or at the wedding venue, provided they offer dog-friendly rooms or accommodation. For the comfort and safety of all pets, we don’t provide care in our own home.
-
How many dogs can we have at our wedding?
We’re happy to chaperone as many dogs as you would like, but we will need additional staff, which would be an additional cost. For the safety and happiness of the dogs we have a maximum of two dogs per chaperone (depending on the size of the dog, their needs and their training level). We are happy to discuss this at your consultation
-
Do you offer dog grooming?
We don’t offer grooming ourselves, but we highly recommend booking a professional groomer before the big day especially if your pup will be in photos or playing a starring role! A fresh trim or tidy-up will help them look (and feel) their best for the celebration.
-
Can we have our dog with us all day?
Our service is tailored to your day, but your dog’s wellbeing comes first. Weddings can be overwhelming for pets, so we recommend a maximum of 3 hours. This allows plenty of time for cuddles, the ceremony, and photos without causing unnecessary stress.
-
Are you first aid trained?
Yes, we’re trained in canine first aid. If your dog ever needs veterinary care, we’ll do our best to take them to your usual vet. In an emergency, we’ll act quickly and head to the nearest available emergency vet to make sure your pup gets the care they need as soon as possible.
-
Are you insured?
Yes, we have full public health liability insurance.
-
Are you DBS checked?
Yes we are and have full clearance. This can be viewed on request.
